Slime Recipe tutorial

Materials:
Borax Solution (use 1 tablespoon of Borax for each 1 cup of water)
Guar Gum Solution should be saturated. (Add as much guar gum as you can dissolve in distilled water.)

5 oz. Paper Cup
Water
Food Coloring

Zip lock bag

Safety:
Borax, sodium borate, is moderately toxic in quantities of more than one gram per 1000 g of body weight. Wash any borax from the hands with water. Wash hands after handling the slime. DO not allow slime to remain on clothing, upholstery, or wood surfaces. The slime will stain or mar the surface. Clean up any spilled slime immediately.

Procedure:
1. Obtain a clean paper cup.
2. Add 50 ml of the guar gum solution to your cup.
3. Add 4 drops of your favorite food color. Have fun, mix colors! Stir well.
4. Add 2 ml of Borax solution to your cup and stir. The contents should begin to thicken and become gel-like. Continue to stir for a couple of minutes and then remove from the cup to finish the process with your hands.
5. Store your slime in a zip lock bag.
